Rokujiso (The Grateful Statues) – A parable of compassion and gratitude that transcends the material world.

A poor man shows kindness to six neglected Jizo statues, protecting them from the cold. Later, the statues come to life to save him from peril. Dalí translates this tale of karmic reward into a surreal dreamscape where stone and spirit merge. The rhythmic repetition of forms — statues dissolving into luminous abstraction — conveys both devotion and metaphysical unity. It is one of the suite’s most meditative compositions, illustrating gratitude as an eternal exchange between humanity and the divine.
